Jack Frost

Caucasian Shepherd puppy, Jack, came to the Shelter in October at just four-months-old after his breeder was unable to find a home for him. Now, six months on, he is still waiting for his forever home.

Jack has made great progress with socialisation and is now much more confident around people. He wasn’t socialised or exposed to new situations in his previous home and can become anxious, so he is looking for an understanding family who have the time to help him settle in while giving him the training and support he needs.

Expected to weigh around 60kg when fully grown, he would like a large secure garden to help him get used to life in the big wide world and build up his confidence. He would like to be the only pet in the home, and we feel he would be best suited to a calm environment where any children are aged 14+.

The Shelter will offer behaviour support throughout his adoption and in the home if needed, as well as puppy classes on a 1-2-1 basis. We would consider a foster-to-adopt application so his new family can benefit from full Shelter support in the early days to make sure he settles well into his new home before making the adoption official.

Jack really is a super young dog and will thrive with a family dedicated to helping him transition to life in a loving home.
