Join us for Cheltenham Running Festival and raise money to help the homeless pets at Cheltenham Animal Shelter.

Sunday 8th June 2025

Choose to run the 5k, 10k or half marathon around Cheltenham Racecourse. Sign up now and we will cover 50% of your race entry fee* then ask your friends and family to sponsor you in aid of our vulnerable cats, dogs and small animals.

We encourage you to try to raise £100+ in sponsorship and will send you a #TeamCAS runners shirt.

It’s simple to sign up with our friends at Run For Charity, and we will send you all the information you need to get started with your fundraising.

There is also a JUNIOR RACE race starting at 12:30pm for just £5 per entry. Purchase a standard Junior Race race entry for £5 and raise as much as you can for our animals. There is no minimum fundraising requirement as this entry is self-funded.

The Inflatable 5k is back, and it’s going to be bigger, bouncier and better than ever! The Unique Inflatable Obstacle Course Race (OCR) has even more obstacles in 2025, it’s going to be epic!

This is a really fun event to take part in on your own or as part of a team and the atmosphere will be electric with pumping music and lots of laughs.

With a choice of distances to choose from, there is something for all ages and abilities! Run the 2.5k, 5k, 10k or 15k courses for our pets in need.

We have teamed up with our friends at Run for Charity to offer places in some fun charity events aimed at younger fundraisers.

With entries starting at just £5, this is a great way to get young people involved with a fun event specifically aimed at young people. Quirky costumes are strongly encouraged!

We hope that our young ambassadors will be successful in raising money for our pets in need through sponsorship from friends and family, there is no pressure to raise a minimum amount to take part.

Junior Race at Cheltenham Running Festival – 8th June 2025

Get involved with the Junior Race at this year’s Cheltenham Running Festival to raise money for pets in need. This flat route covers 0.7km so is a great opportunity for budding athletes to take to the tracks.

Move More Mile at Run Cheltenham - 21st September 2025

Suitable for all ages and abilities the Move More Mile is a great way to start getting active and raise money for pets in need.

Move More aims to promote the benefits of physical activity for young people and the local community.

2.5k course at Inflatable 5k Cheltenham - 4th October 2025

Get ready to bounce your way through The World’s BIGGEST and most EPIC Inflatable 2.5K Obstacle Course!

This event is taking place at Cheltenham and it’s going to be BIGGER, BOUNCIER, and BETTER than ever before!

The excitement has been pumped up to the MAX, you’ll be jumping, sliding, and bouncing your way to the finish line like never before.

The 2.5k race is £15 to enter (Cheltenham Animal Shelter also pays £15 for your entry). We ask our adult participants to aim to raise £100 but we waive this for our young fundraisers and ask instead for a minimum fundrasising target of £15.

Kids Race at Run Alton Towers – 15th November 2025

Come and join us at Run Alton Towers Kids Race at the UK’s largest theme park. You are guaranteed a great day out with theme park entry and access to all the rides included in your entry!!

Each distance will be accurately marked out with KM flags and mile markers and there will be plenty of helpers along the course to keep you on track and encourage you all the way to the finish line.

Open to kids of all ages and adults are more than welcome to join their child or let them run solo this is entirely personal preference!

Each participant will receive a medal and post race goodies.

We are delighted to have been selected as a charity partner for London Landmarks in 2025 and are already really excited about being there on the day to experience the famous atmosphere and cheer on our runners!

 

About the route

The London Landmarks Half Marathon is a closed road, central London run and is the only half marathon to go through both the City of London and City of Westminster.

The event is not your average half marathon! From cultural landmarks and heritage to the city’s quirky and hidden secrets, runners get to explore the capital on a route like no other!

The event starts on the iconic Pall Mall, before runners take in the sights and sounds of London’s awe-inspiring landmarks, eventually finishing outside Downing Street.

As one of our runners you will get:

  • #TeamCAS running vest
  • Sponsorship forms
  • Guidance on how to set up your fundraising page
  • Support from the team at Cheltenahm Animal Shelter
  • A Cheltenham Animal Shelter cheer squad during the event

Skydive! Take on the ultimate charity challenge at locations across the UK

Join #TeamCAS and take to the skies for a breathtaking and exhilarating experience of a lifetime. Available to book at airfields across the UK with various days and times to choose from, all year round.

Challenge yourself to jump from an aircraft at a whopping 10,000 or 15,000 feet and plunge down to earth at speeds of over 120mph to help Cheltenham Animal Shelter improve the lives of pets in need.

A Tandem skydive is the easiest and most popular of all skydives. It requires only 30 minutes of training before you jump, strapped to your instructor! The BPA (British Parachute Association) qualified tandem instructor does all of the hard work for you, allowing you to enjoy the exhilarating feeling of flying through the clouds at up to 120 mph! It is a truly unforgettable experience.
